I am at a loss at what to but there is so much choice, i currently running out of foundation and i currently wear Estee Lauder Double Wear, I'm running out of concealer and i have been using Touche Veloutee and i need a good quality night eye cream because at 44 i have have fine lines under my eyes.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

wearing the Estee Lauder Double Wear mascara for the first time today and it's excellent. I'm very prone to panda eyes normally!

Pancakeflipper · 30/12/2013 18:40

I would get Clarin's Beauty Balm (it makes my skin look perky on it's tired grey days).

SorrelForbes · 30/12/2013 19:13

That's interesting about the EL mascara Stats. I've just bought a new Chanel one after being a bit disappointed by the new YSL Baby Doll (great effect, dried out after a month!) and it's smudged terribly.

Bigfatgypsyweddingwatcher · 30/12/2013 19:17

Clarins extra firming night cream for eyes is lovely and really works.

merryxmasyafilthyanimal · 30/12/2013 19:22

Clinique Take The Day Off balm.

AuntieMaggie · 30/12/2013 19:27

Urban decay naked 3 pallete here... and some foundation (probably Clinique Matte one) and some Dior lipstick/gloss

AuntieMaggie · 30/12/2013 19:28

Or some everyday perfume (as I now have 4 different chanel perfumes but they're too special for work!)

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 30/12/2013 19:30

I managed to spend £88 in there this afternoon.

Dior mascara (extreme something or other), and a 50ml bottle of Advanced Night Repair.

merryxmasyafilthyanimal · 30/12/2013 19:30

Never save perfume for best!! Insane woman Grin

Elizabeththefirst · 30/12/2013 19:32

A moisturiser from clarins.

And a fancy eyeshadow palette.

treaclesoda · 30/12/2013 19:34

Clarins treatment oil.

Clinique cleansing balm.

Maybe a nice Clinique chubby stick if I found an appropriate colour

Elizabeththefirst · 30/12/2013 19:38

Oh, and some very fancy tweezerman tweezers

EvilTwins · 30/12/2013 19:39

Estee Lauder Night Repair - tis magic. There's an eye cream as well, but I find the serum is good by itself.

I also like Estee Lauder Idealist (pore minimiser)

I don't work for Estee Lauder, btw - just find that it's one of the few things that doesn't affect my overly sensitive skin!

dementedma · 30/12/2013 20:00

Urban decay Naked 1 palette. Sold out until the middle of January grrrr.

SomewhereBeyondTheSea · 30/12/2013 20:05

Laura Mercier mineral powder (magic!), Clarins gentle foaming cleanser, whatever shade of Nails Inc varnish takes your fancy (go for a spring shade, not too wintry) ... Or Tom Ford perfume. Particularly Neroli Portofino.

Missboobyvontits · 30/12/2013 20:08

Oooh thank you everyone lots of lovely things...I think i might have to stretch into my own money at this rate.

I was already planning to buy the Clinique Chubby Stick after admiring my friends lovely lipstick. Has anyone tried Bare Minerals concealer? I wasn't sure if it would sit in my fine lines around my eyes rather than hiding the dark circles.

OP posts:
StatisticallyChallenged · 30/12/2013 21:12

For serious dark circle hiding the best I've found is benefit Booing.

SF - just checked in the mirror, mascara been on since 7ish and it has not budged at all. I have a good coating on top and bottom lashes

carlywurly · 30/12/2013 21:17

Go and get the Clarins set on sale for £32 and has loads in including a full sized flash balm.
Then a perfume boxed set in the sale, a bare minerals palette, a Chanel nail varnish and a Clinique chubby in water melon. I second the vote for benefit concealer. I also use the Clinique airbrush one. Envy
