I have Argos vouchers so really hoped it would be reduced there but they aren't. Are they reduced anywhere?

Ooh stella thanks for that, I may have to borrow my Mum's Makro card!

So glad you got yours bigbutton Smile. My birthday is in a couple of months so will ask DH for one then - sadly this months salary has gone on new school shoes and uniforms for the teens who have both worn out their shoe leather and taken growth spurts!

Oh thanks princessflirtypants

I will look out for the babyliss, it sounds to be the best.

Lidl had some cheapo version in today. I didn't see the price, but the brand name was Desperate Housewives!

the bigger one has been fine for me. I am growing my hair but it was a chin length bob. I have got the smaller one because I think it will be better. The bigger one should be fine for you though.

princessalbert I have the tresemme one and its ok, it does add volume but its not amazing.

So, I have just below shoulder length hair but it's quite fine so should I go for the big or small one – will the big one make my hair too, well big? I am going to grow it longer at some point but have to wait for the condition to improve.

Amazon have the small one for £36.99 but don't want to get it if I'm better off with the big one...

They're down to £39.99 in boots not much of a discount but am tempted

I just got an email from them late this morning, so if you haven't heard anything you should be OK - will keep my fingers crossed that you got there in time Smile

oh no! I haven't heard anything from Asda! I hope I got there just in timeShock

Ended up getting the 50mm one from Argos, it only cost me a fiver on top of my vouchers so not bad really. I nearly went for the 42mm one for £28 in Asda, my store had one left on the shelf this afternoon, but glad I didn't because the big one is great. My hair is about 2 inches below my shoulders, I think the 42mm would have been too small.

I've used it on my 4yr daughter and I, we both look fabulous now Xmas Grin

Yes - you have to dry your hair first until it's damp, and then use the BBH on sections of hair. If I'm in a rush I use it on dry hair too - it takes the worst of the kinks out.

Report
jennimoo · 27/12/2013 17:01

Slightly OT but how do you use the BBH? Do you have to dry your hair mostly first or does it work from towel dried?

I find it hard to do the back with the big one and I think the smaller one would give me more control iyswim?

Report
SirChenjin · 27/12/2013 09:27

I'm wondering whether to go for that smaller one too now - my hair is thick collar length, and sometimes the big one does make my hair big (which I guess is the point Grin)
