I'm mid 40s and have noticed a thinning lately in the skin on my neck. Can you recommend a decent cream?

What do you use on your face? Most face creams recommend using them on the neck too?

I like the Bliss one, think its called 'thinny chin' or similar. Sinks in well, not greasy but feels like its helping. (I'm late 40's but not got necklace lines yet.)

I shove the Superdrug Vitamin E oil on mine.

won't do anything of course - no cream fixes wrinkles, the effects of ageing or gravity. Smells nice though.

Steamcream is brilliant I use on my neck and it feels moisturised for hours afterwards

Lidl Cien daycream is good.

Thanks girls! I was told today that anything with Q10 should work too. Great suggestions, I'll check them out.

PS What's a necklace line?

Any moisturiser will do some good.

But moisturiser will not magically make your skin thicken (wtf? whoever invents that will be hailed as the second coming).

Necklace line is a clumsy, crappy phrase to mean the wrinkles going across your neck. Nobody uses it.

You get old, you get wrinkly, your skin and hair will thin, such is life.

Lush foa specific cream for the neck-some of their skin products are great

Thanks butt, don't feel stupid at all Xmas Blush

Aww, I'm actually sorry about that. I was in a grumpy mood.

Anyhoo, having thunked about it - Palmers Cocoa Butter may be a good bet. I'd be tempted to go the whole hog and get the one for stretch marks as I imagine it may be formulated specifically for thinner skin.

You don't need to pay too much for a decent moisturiser.
