False eyelash help needed please

After another Christmas night out with others having lovely long fluttery eyelashes, I have finally decided to take the plunge and get some false eyelashes. The problem is I have no idea where to start! Could someone please recommend where I could get some reasonably priced, easy to apply (I am a first timer) eyelashes.

I am not keen to go to a salon for some as I have heard lots of horror stories about removal.

Thanks in advance.

Primark! There false lashes are £1 and they are great-much better than more expensive ones imo. They have various varieties too-natural look, sultry look, full look lashes etc. Easy to put on and they stay put all night. I have in fact still got mine on from last nightBlush

IMO you can't go wrong with Eyelure ones which you can get in Boots or Superdrug.

its all about the glue. Get some cheap eyelashes (homebargains do two pairs for £2) but then get some decent glue separately from boots or mac. Make sure the glue is tacky before you apply the lashes (they will not stick if you don't wait a minute or two) and don't worry if the glue smudges out a bit because it will dry clear and you can cover it with liquid eyeliner.

I got mine in Mac and they 'fitted' them for me, I bought them and the glue and reused lots of times (well three, but they are still in the cupboard for another go if I ever go out ever again after having the baby)

I can then use the posh glue on cheapy's should the need ever arise. They snipped them a bit shorter than standard to perfectly fit my lash line (I wouldn't have known to do that, or how much to snip for that matter)

strikethrough didn't work

Thank you everyone for the advice. I have bought some today and will give them a try tomorrow.

I bought these recently, and liked them so much I bought another boxed set. Cheaper than one indivual pair in the shop and you get 10

If you don't mind waiting a couple of weeks, then they really are a bargain. The only thing is, you have to buy the glue seperately, but its not that expensive. Eyelure sell glue in the supermarkets and it lasts ages, so definitely an investment on the whole. Ebay also sells 40 pairs of lashes for around the 3-4 mark.
