Covering indented acne scars

Hello, after some advice if possible. I have some indented scars on my forehead, have had them years really but this year for some reason (turning 30?) they're making me feel really self concious :(

Any tips for makeup to cover them? Or ways I could reduce them? I tend to just wear a mineral powder foundation, sometimes a primer underneath, as I've been concious of causing more spots!

Have attempted to add a photo of my forehead!

TIA

Bare minerals prime time primer works wonders for me.
I have indentations on my nose, foundation sits in the holes. The primer is the best I've tried. It covers over like a dream and I follow with foundation.
You can buy it in most big dept stores or try qvc with its 30day return policy, if you don't like it send it back.
I have combination/sensitive skin and have no problems with breakouts.

I've found use this Boots face brush here has manually resurfaced my skin to make indentations slightly less pronounced.

Not a miracle cure and that's not why I bought the brush but it does speed up skin renewal and make it slightly tauter, and softens the edges, so improving the overall appearance.

You could get your GP to refer you for a medical grade peel, if you are really bothered - they work well.

Otherwise thickish foundation and extra concealer in the indentations. Or a fringe, I have one! Good luck.

Thanks both :) will look at those.

Chemical peels sound scary! Am considering a fringe though! But I have a cowlick so hairdresser has always put me off!

i've heard a derma roller can be good for acne, i've been using one at home for a few months and using a collagen/vit c serum and its helped my skin a lot
i got mine from amazon after a friend recommended it to me

Firstly please be reassured that they are really not that noticeable.

I have a couple on my cheeks and find using a stipple brush to apply foundation to that area seems to cover them a bit. If they were on my forehead and bothered me I'd be tempted to go down the fringe route. I'm a fan of fringes anyway. That'd be the easiest thing you could do.

Oh and slim ghds will sort a cowlick out easily.

I agree, they really are not so noticeable. But I do know what you mean, I go thru phases where I think my scarring is awful even tho the reality is it's not so bad, a bit like your's (confident day today!!).

My answer is a side fringe. Hides a multitude. And a stipple brush for foundation. Oh and a light reflective foundation.
