That's why I stopped using eye creams. Get milia immediately.
I struggled a lot with the same on the whole face though - either spotty or flaky.
Everything was either heavy and suffocating or irritating and not enough.
Took ages to get it better.

Coconut oil. Last thing at night. My skin looks amazing in the mornings. I use it in the mornings if I'm not wearing makeup (which is happening more and more often since I started using coconut oil!). It's really moisturising, and naturally anti-bacterial so prevents spots and reduces the ones already there. Tie your hair back well though - it makes it look greasy if it gets in your fringe. Having said that, it's a great pre-wash treatment! I love it.

smugmumofboys · 15/12/2013 20:58

I'm 45 and have been using Liz Earle for a few years now and really like it.

Pancakeflipper · 15/12/2013 21:03

Elemis and Clarins hydroquench. Have very dry skin.

Littlemissexpecting · 15/12/2013 22:49

Ggirl I was the same but don't have the problem now I've changed my cleanser and toner

Best1sWest · 15/12/2013 22:49

Neal's Yard Frankincense Nourishing Cream. It is simply fantastic. My skin has never looked so good. It smells gorgeous too.

ggirl · 15/12/2013 23:17

littlemiss-what are you using now?

Aquelven · 15/12/2013 23:22

I've mostly used No7 or Clarins, depending on how broke or otherwise I was at the time. But I've recently discovered this & it's gorgeous!

ReluctantBeing · 15/12/2013 23:23

I use Body Shop Vitamin E. I have really sensitive skin and it's the only day cream that doesn't irritate me. I use Waitrose Baby Bottom Butter at night. I flamin' love that stuff.

Tistheseasontobedramatic · 15/12/2013 23:27

Olay 7 signs for me too. I'm in my thirties and get told regularly I don't look over 25. Olay works wonderfully for meSmile

lunar1 · 15/12/2013 23:32

Creme de la mer, tried everything else with varying levels of disaster. It has completely changed my skin.

dizhin79 · 15/12/2013 23:56

astral for me too always have and probably always will Grin

Jackthebodiless · 16/12/2013 00:10

Astral. It's the only thing rich enough for my extremely dry skin.

JollySantersSelectionBox · 16/12/2013 00:12

ReVive range from SpaceNK. Amazing.

Littlemissexpecting · 16/12/2013 07:14

Ggirl simple, it's surprisingly good and made a huge difference for me

DearDinah · 16/12/2013 07:17

I just use sweet almond oil as a cleanser & don't need a moisturiser, I do have oily skin though. Definitely recommend oil cleansing, it's been a revelation!

Meglet · 16/12/2013 07:42

Lush Shangri La. Started using it when I turned 30, so it's been 10yrs now.

Anyfuckerisnotguilty · 16/12/2013 18:05

What is the aldi one called please

OP posts:
HelloBoys · 16/12/2013 18:37

All depends on your skin type and budget.

Personally I use Bobbi brown gel hydrating cream and shove on either nuxe SPF30 or L'Occitane SPF40 on top for day and either same moisturiser or richer for night.

Kiehls midnight secret serum is amazing so is nuxe serum merveilluse and Neals yard rose oil great too.

jamtoast12 · 16/12/2013 18:39

Aldi is lacura or similar. It's only £3.50 ish but it's won loads of beauty awards.

BaBaBooeyFaFaFooey · 16/12/2013 22:26

Aldi here too Smile

Use the day and night anti wrinkle creams in the white and blue boxes.

My skin has never looked so amazing!

Also their anti ageing body lotion in the maroon bottle is fantastic too!!

Mattissy · 16/12/2013 22:37

I either use Olay (since it was oil of ulay!, lol) I'm 83 but only look 12.

LondonJax · 16/12/2013 22:55

I use Asda Skin System Day and Night cream. It comes in one pot, divided down the middle - day cream one side, night cream the other. I was diagnosed with rosacea a couple of years ago and was put on antibiotics for a while. My skin broke out in pimples every day - at least three a day, usually on my chin. My skin was so sore I couldn't wear a jumper, too painful to pull over my face. Then I had to stop the antibiotics for a while (not a good idea to be on antibiotics for too long) and the GP told me to come back as soon as the spots started again. While I was on the antibiotics I went on holiday and bought the asda cream to save space in my bag. I liked it so much I stayed on it and one year after stopping the antibiotics I've not had even one more spot break out. Don't know if it was the cream or the antib's but my skin is clear so I'm sticking with it!

somewhereinessex · 16/12/2013 23:01

Occitane - can't remember what it's called. In round glass jar with a silvery top. Seems to do the job.

JollySantersSelectionBox · 17/12/2013 02:47

Mattissy - does that pose problems for you in the Off Licence when you stock up on your gin and Dubonnet?
