Yikes! Interview clothes - crisis of confidence....

I'm going to a job interview on Friday. For the first time in ten years. Since having the DC I've been running my own (very informal, mainly home based) business. Prior to DC I was a regional manager for a quite conservative, 'corporate' company, I generally wore trouser/skirt suits.

I've had a dig through the old work wardrobe which I kept because I am a bit of a hoarder and knew it would come in handy one day and found a pretty good, tailored, navy trouser suit which I think looks good (thankfully have recently lost weight otherwise never would have fitted back into it) - but I don't know -
A) what to wear underneath - shirts aren't great as I am large chested and always worry about gapage plus I'm not sure if it looks too busy - shirt collar plus jacket collar? So- a blouse? Is a vest or t-shirt type top under a suit jacket acceptable? Or does it need to be a more formal fabric? A jumper?
B) what to wear on my feet. Do I need to go out and buy court shoes? Are black boots ok?

Any help gratefully received, have just been starting to get my head around non-workwear fashion thanks to here, but feel clueless on this and am a bit worried about loooking like a reject from 2003 when I was last in an office!

Boots fine, if hidden under trousers. Try a vest top under the jacket?

Good news on boots! They're quite plain and reasonably high so should be ok? Think a vest top would look better than a shirt - neater on neckline - just worried if it would look too casual?

Vest fine as long as you don't remove your jacket. If you get hot and clammy like me then nice tee might be better as you have the option to lose the jacket if required. Good luck!
