House of colour or colour me beautiful are the main 2 companies that offer it. I used House of colour which I recommend.

I did mine just by looking up the colour charts online, not sure I would bother paying for it unless I was really borderline between two seasons. Do you use pinterest? Loads about it there. Basically everyone falls into a 'season' according to complexion/hair colour/eye colour, and you're supposed to use the colours that suit you based on your particular season. For example I am a winter (dark hazel eyes, pale skin, dark brown hair - lots of contrast) and suit black/grey/primary/jewel tones best. Best friend is an autumn and looks great in browns, teals, golds etc.

House of Colour and Colour me Beautiful are the two main companies, though there are some independent consultants I think. I can only speak for House of Colour (I'm a consultant) but we use a selection of precision dyed coloured drapes to see whether you have warm or cool skin tone, then whether you need brighter clearer colours or more muted/richer/deeper colours. Then we go through and look at the best make up colours for you and 'rate' the colours within your season to find the absolute best colours for you.
