i haven't really worn make up ever, last time i had a full face of slap was 16 years ago when i got married and even then i took it all off before the evening do!

my eyelashes are fair towards the tips so i do occasionally tint them, and as dd is now becoming interested in wearing the odd bit, we have bought a few bits and pieces from superdrug mua range, but i have no idea where to start.

skin is ok other than dark rings!, it's mainly what to do eyes and lips wise, any tips?

I'd like to know too! I usually stick with tinted moisuriser, some browm mascara and some lip gloss but it is a bit subtle!

I do colour my hair and that helps a lot.

Decide which area you want to highlight ie eyes or lips , look at Lisa Eldridge tutorials. Also push liner in black , brown or grey between lashes for a natural definition as lashes can look sparse and this defines without heavy effect.

Check out Goss make up artist on You Tube :)

Go to a Bobbi Brown counter and ask them for a makeover. Those girls know their stuff. I am not on commission BTW!

I don't think you need much really, you have lovely skin with nice colouring. I think some of the problem nowadays is, we get so used to seeing ladies withso much colour/ year round (unnatural) tan, that we forget that we live where we do and would naturally be pale and interesting, most months of the year.

What about a tinted moisturiser? Splash out on Laura Mercier is my recommendation but it IS £££. Also, a mascara for eye definition and a my-lips-but-better lippy? Because you never wear it, this little amount of makeup will make a difference. Maybe a light, neutral blush too. I have Clinique blushes....much overlooked, IMO.

I think you look lovely as you are: very natural and young looking.
