Do any of you live in a hot and humid climate?

Going to Singapore on business in March. I've never been before. I have been to Tokyo and Hong Kong in August and the heat and humidity nearly killed me. I've been told that Singapore will be worse.

I will be outdoors for about an hour during each work day. I need to somehow keep looking polished and professional.
Please tell me how you keep your face from looking like you've dipped it in a chip pan. My skin is only slightly oily in the t-zone, but even in England as soon as summer comes I'm shiny and horrid.

Also if you have curly hair how do you manage it? Mine's just going to turn into a frizz bomb Sad

Singapore is certainly an education in hot and humid. I hope you are at least going to be in the shade - you certainly should wear factor 30 when outside given where the place is. (and real suncream, not stupid cosmetic ones)

as for hair - braided to your head and tied up, way way too hot any other way.

Carry on those pocket sized facial mists in your bag and use on your face when outside (helps to keep you cool and prevents your make up from sliding off with sweat).

Hair - one of those glossing serums right before you head out for the day?

Singapore - it will be freezing in the office and hot & humid outside. Good luck!

I live in Singapore and it is ridiculous. Hot to cold constantly in moving in and out of the office. I keep a pashmina in my bag at all times.

Laura Mercier powder to stop shiny face. It's translucent, so not worried about white-powder face.

My hair is quite wavy and I've found that the best thing is to not wash it as much and to use some sort of oil to tame it.

I'll keep my hair tied up and look for an oil/glossing serum to use. Years ago I used the Frizz Ease range, may have to look into that again.

I will be wearing a sun hat when I'm outdoors, in addition to lots of sunscreen.
I'm very fair skinned so sunscreen is a must for me and something I do wear every day from March to October, even in England.
Can any of you recommend a brand that may help to keep my face matte?

Have you tried the Kleenex Mattifying sheets? They are sooooo good. Not covered in powder like other sheets I've tried, but they just absorb all the oil. Handy and a godsend.

Also try the Soap and Glory Primer. It has SPF25 as well. Face stays very matte for a good 3 hours.

Sorry the Soap and Glory is a BB cream. Here it is...

And this is the Kleenex one.
