OK so does oil pulling HAVE to be done first thing in the morning...?

And why?

I've heard such good things about it I'd love to try it but can't face swilling oil round my mouth first thing!! Does anyone know what the reason is for this? Could you do it later on or in the evening? Excited to try it to help my yellowing teeth and sadly receding gums...

Any ideas oh wise ones...?

I do it when I remember during the day. I used to do it in the shower, can't remember why I stopped now.

Confused

Also ignorant about oil pulling.

Morning is better due to bacteria build up overnight. It is also more effective if you brush beforehand. Afterwards you should swill out with water and then brush again. It's a bit of a faff, but I do loads of stuff whilst doing it (empty dishwasher/ washing machine etc).
It has cleaned up my teeth, made my mouth feel lovely, and helped me use less medication (thyroid).
I use raw, organic virgin coconut. Darker oils can stain the teeth apparently.

they did a mini trial of this on TV (C4, Health Freaks I think it was called) they found swilling with distilled water equally effective.
