I had fab hair when I was pg. Post-baby my hair is so limp it depresses me. I had it cut (shorter) in the hopes that taking some weight off would give it more body. It is v.v.fine hair and since this v.stressful pg I have some grey hairs.
Post-baby my scalp is really sensitive, most shampoos feel like they're burning me. I normally use a thickening shampoo.

My hairdresser used mousse when she blowdried and that was a little uncomfortable but ok. She said if I get some big velcro rollers and leave them in while my hair dries, it might help.

I don't own a hairdrier and don't want to buy one. From a previous MN thread I'm tempted to try setting lotion with The rollers, but does it need a hairdryer? If yes, can you lovely people recommend product for my poor hair that do not involve hairspray or hairdriers?

My hairdresser has done her best - my hair seems a bit thicker at the bottom. I made the mistake of insisting all one length. I'll ask for the fringe to be jaw length next time. My scalp itches all the time - I wonder if I have a psoriasis flare-up.

Why don't you want to buy a hair dryer? Yes rollers in hair, even slightly damp hair, will need drying with a hair dryer if you don't want to spend hours with rollers in your hair.

Using a hair dryer will give lift at roots, even if you just stick your head upside down and blast the roots. Lots of girls on here with fine hair swear by the babyliss big hair to give their fine hair lots of lift and body.
