Post-pregnancy help needed...

It's probably been done to death, but rather desperate for any help...

DD is 3mths old and pregnancy weight is still to melt off...on WW and have lost 7lb so far but 3.5stone to go (inc some.pre pregnancy flab!). Nothing I have fits properly. I'm down to two tops which are stretched out of shape by breastfeeding, two skirts and two cardigans, one which seems to have attracted a couple of small holes - basically my wardrobe needs an overhaul and because I'm on mat leave, needs to be done on a v tight budget.

Anything I buy needs to be bf friendly, and without buttons (DD will only feed from one side so boobs are vlopsided and look even worse in anything with buttons!).

DH is getting me a nice pair of flat knee high tan leather boots for my birthday next week, other than that, I've probably got about £50 to spend this month. Obviously don't want to buy too much as have so much weight to lose.

Any ideas anyone?! Please help get me out of this depressing rut.

Hello Smile

My BF uniform is skinny jeans/leggings, long vest, big knitwear.

It can be worth checking out selected charity shops for nice knitwear that doesn't cost a bomb and that you don't mind getting baby sick on, and makes sense if you might be a different size in a few months.

I spent 15 quid last week and got mint condition slouchy cardis from Phase Eight, Kew and Jaeger. Then the baby was sick on them all. Joys...

Congrats on the baby!

My breastfeeding uniform was black vest, leggings or skinny jeans or stretchy skirt/ tights and a long cardi eg waterfall style. All from primark. You could definitely kit yourself out with some gd stuff from there for 50 quid. And maybe throw in a couple of sparkly accessories too eg new earrings/ bangle/ bracelet. I remember doing that when both DC were tiny

Congrats! Echoing what the others have said. I'm 10 months in and still living in leggings, vest top and knitwear (there were forays into maxi and midi dresses - stretchy - over summer). Supermarkets for good quality leggings with modal so they're not see through, my best vests are maternity ones from ds which are 3 years old. They are just normal vests but super long and wash and wear like a dream. Then whatever cardi I fancy. It's generally a cardi as dd is accomplished at gymnurstics and won't contemplate anything near her head.
