I've gone back to having blonde highlights, I wash and dry my hair ever day and straighten occasionally.my hair is very thick and suffers from frizz. How can I keep it in tip top condition

Is it damaged or just a bit dry?

If it's damaged then Joico K-Pak Deep Penetrating Reconstructor is amazing stuff.

If it's just dry then pure coconut oil is fabulous.

I've had it trimmed so hoping to minimise any further damage. Washing my hair every day isn't great but it makes my skin feel greasy if I don't :-/

I recently bought Kerastase Ciment Thermique after a recommendation on here, and it really works. I was amazed, because I've tried loads of products and they never do what they claim to do. It isn't a miracle-worker, but it definitely works - been using it for a few weeks now, and my hair is much softer, has much less frizz, shinier etc.

V. pleased with it and will buy again when I run out. Bit ££ but not extortionate (was £15-ish).

I have been impressed with Liz Earle conditioner for dry hair. Even if I leave it on for just 5 min my hair is shiny.

Kerastase products. Tried & tested so much stuff over the years (was dyed blonde & using straighteners & my hair strands literally broke in my fingers with the slightest of pulls!)
Pretty dear but you get what you pay for.

Philip Kingsley elasticiser - though expensive.

I second the Joico K-Pak if it's damaged. If it's not damaged though and protein is used it can make it a bit straw like.

This is very good. A bit ££ but a little goes a long way.
