Haven't got a clue what to wear since having a baby

Need some help! I am really struggling to know what to wear since I became a mum. I always wore dresses but since I'm breastfeeding I can't wear any of my old things. Im 30 and don't want to look scruffy or frumpy all the time but at the moment I'm just living in my maternity leggings and a handful of tunic type tops and vests that are easy to feed in. Practical but I don't feel like me at all!

I was thinking maybe skirts and a vest/jumper combo might be a good alternative but I have no idea what is nice anymore. I haven't worn trousers for years. I'm about a size 14 at the moment, maybe a 16 on the bottom. Hoping to lose some weight so don't want to spend lots of money. Any suggestions?

Hi Clean, I was a bit lost, clothing-wise, after having my son - partially because an EMCS meant I had to careful of anything rubbing on my acar for the first few weeks. I stuck with maternity leggings and bought the Breton stripe breastfeeding dress and top from Jojo Maman Bebe, and a couple of breastfeeding dresses from Mamas and Papas in the sale. I'm also wearing my stretchy maternity vests under my usual cardies and denim shirts etc. I find that wearing things that its easy to feedIin actually makes me feel more stylish and comfortable.

Just to say, I know you said you didn't want to spend much money but the Jojo stuff in particular I actual think is excellent value - I've worn them both so much already, and they've washed v well despite fair amountsof sick ;)

Worth seeing if there are any on eBay, too

Thanks Laquila! Didn't know Mamas and Papas did nursing clothes. Will have a look at Jojo too as i had a nice maternity dress from there (sadly not suitable for feeding).

I had to revamp what I wore when I had my first. I got lots of long tops and cardi's. I'm looking out for long sleeve tunics and had a thread with some great links posted by others will find it for you
