Remedy for weeping spot - Grossness warning - spot pickets and squeezer come hither

I cannot believe I haven't though of this before!

I squeeze any spots I have and then sometimes have the dilemma of it still weeping after I have picked/squeezed it and my foundation won't adhere to it. Or if it does it is only temporarily and by the time I get to work it has oozed through and I have a crust (gross I know) or just a wet oozed blob.

So I was in Tesco of all places and saw a styptic pencil. I remember my dad having one of these is about 1970! I don't recall seeing one since and a flashbulb went off in my head and I bought one.

It works! I blot squeezed spot with tissue and gently rub pencil over. Slight sting and then miraculously it is instantly dried up and foundation can be gently patted over the top and the blemish magically disappears.

Sorry if this is common knowledge but I am nearly 50 and never thought about using a men's shaving product before!

Wow, I never knew that either and am 47 Grin
My dh uses tea tree oil for a complaint/disease he has.
He advised me to dab some on neat to the same sounding spot you talk about.
The same miracle cure, if you dilute it with almond oil, hey presto the best cleanser you'll ever find.

Thank you, you may have changed my life forever ThanksThanksThanksThanks

I am a diehard squeezer/picker and can never leave anything alone.

BTW they also sell them on Amazon and disposable ones too.

The trick is to blot with tissue then quickly apply styptic pencil.
