I would like to have a one to one session with a really good makeup artist to teach me how to do my makeup properly. Any recommendations?

Not an in store type, please. I have shocking eye bags and they are sapping my confidence. I have lots of different potions and concealers and nowt works. Short of surgery, the only thnk I can think of is a session where I learn how the professionals hide em.

I'm in the midlands.

Thanks for ideas.

Have you used eyessentials? They sell it on qvc. I have used it and it is brilliant. You do have to practice with it as too much product means it will look awful.

Fab stuff.

Have you tried haemorrhoid cream? I've heard it's great for eye bags but not tried it myself.

My friends bought me this for my 40th - was wonderful. Try and get someone to come to your home so that they can go through your skin are routine and all products. I chucked loads away as a result. My lady is in Cardiff so not good for midlands. Perhaps make enquiries with wedding make up artists as they may do something tailored for you.

We did this as a gift for my mother who wanted to update her make up to make it age appropriate.
She has a beautician who does her waxing etc and she offers a make up lesson in the salon. We paid an extra £15 and she went to mummy's house.
She showed her how to do her make up and what products to use for older skin and best colours etc.
Mum liked it because she wasn't tied to any one brand and she recommended loads of great wee products.
So I suppose I'm saying check your local beauticians see what they offer.
