Who/what would you recommend for a make-up makeover?

Ok so I need help. Given up booze, flirted with Botox - still have old looking dull skin that scares me. Make-up is the next attempt to get my mojo back. What would you recommend - or who would you recommend to get a makeup makeover from (bad memories of a baaad Mac experience in Macy's in my 20s makes me nervous). I'm 41 but feel like an old crone. PLEASE HELP!!

Have a look at the women behind the beauty counters. Most benefit staff look like caked on oompa loompa's so avoid having a make over there.

At your young age I would see what the bare minerals staff look like and have a make over with them.

Estée Lauder is a bit hit and miss and they can look a bit caked on as well.

When I have my make up done by clinique they have chosen great eyes, cheeks and lips but completely the wrong colour foundation. - orange every time!

I don't like mac, so don't bother with them.

Also have a look at tutorials on youtube.

Bobbi brown people showed my sister how to do a glow look that livened up her complexion using their highlighters.

If you're in the uk, suggest a visit to boots for two products. sanctuary spa time reversal mask (you can get a trial sachet for £2 in large branches). Smear it on at night and sleep in it. Ta-da! A new you in the morning, I was amazed. And try a tube of Botanics BB radiance cream (am blonde and blue eyed and medium is perfect) as a foundation. A revelation after years of Estée Lauder doublewear. Don't know what your brows are like, but if you have them threaded and then brush a little bit of Christian brow powder (on amazon) through in the mornings to define, it's like a mini facelift.

Clinique are terrible for foundation matching and Clarins ladies go very mad with blusher.

Must admit that the nicest one I've ever had was at Benefit.

Clarins Beauty Balm to use a primer under make-up.

I got some this week and it is has perked up my face! I look healthy and dewy ( whereas I know I am dry old peeling skin face underneath it).
