any chance of finding reasonably priced knee length boots for my DD1 with narrow feet?!

Don't have a big budget, I was thinking of £30 - £35 but I was flabbergasted at how expensive leather boots are for girls with growing feet! Especially at Clarks Shock. Just shelled out for school shoes for my DD1 & DD2 but my DD1 needs something waterproof & warm for this winter outside school. She is now size 2 but her feet are quite narrow F width so supermarket & Next shoes are not good always too wide. I am getting sick of Clarks and I find they don't offer much choice for older girls. I was pleasantly surprised that M&S shoes fit both DDs well. Just having looked at the M&S website, not a lot of choices for knee high leather boots I don't want Ugg types as they usually fall shaggy after a month's wear and not waterproof!
Hoping one of you MN lovely ladies could give me some tips where else I could shop? Many thanks in advance Grin

Have you tried brantano? If you sign up to the email updates they always send you codes for money off. They sell Clark's and loads of other brands .

Try start rite they are better than Clarks for narrow feet.

Try this.

Have you tried Vertbaudet? I'm not sure what size they go up to.

My dd is a size 11, and I've bought Vertbaudet the last couple of years. They dont do width fittings but seem to come up narrow.

With discount code, I paid £25 for leather boots last winter.

Next are quite good for children's shoes - far better than for their clothes. They're also quite cheap, though not sure you would get boots for as little as £30. I don't think width should be that much of an issue as I think f in clarks is average so should hopefully be what chain store sizes align to.

This site has some lovely boots which are fine for the price www.linzi.com/

Pataloco · 23/09/2013 21:15

The linzi website prices are amazing will keep that in mind when DD1's feet grows to size 3 as these boots doesn't come smaller than size 3 but nothing stopping me buying a pair for myself! Wink thanks anyway for the tips will look into Next store with DD1 to try on again if failing will order from verdaudant. Are the verdaudant sizing generous? Their clothes are really small I recall. Don't really want to do the faffing & costs with the returns & re ordering if they comes up too small cheers
