Can anyone recommend me a good cheap easy to use brand of false lashes please?

Big party to go to and I fancy trying some false lashes to look a bit more done-up, but am baffled by the huge range of styles and brands in Boots.

Any top tips? Or is there a department store where they'll fit them for a small fee?

I cannot do the ones where you put the glue on yourself Blush
So I always opt for pre glued ones, usually eyelure if that helps

I like Ardell Demi Wispies as they're not too wide or Eyelure naturlites.

MAC will apply lashes for you if you buy one of theirs plus Duo lash glue (which is way better than those fiddly free tubes of glue that come in other packs)

Don't dismiss individual lashes too. Far easier to apply and no biggie if one or two fall off as your night progresses Wink

Thanks chaps. I'm a bit intimidated by the individual lashes, but agree that pre-glued does look easier. Anybody else got any suggestions?

I've only used individual lashes and found them very easy to use.

I used the Revlon ones and used Revlon glue, which dissolved when using eye makeup remover (I used Clinique Take the Day off). Applying glue was so easy, the lashes were easy to apply, there were no problems while wearing them and they were so easy to take off too.

You can find videos on how to put fake lashes (both strips and individual ones) on Lisa Eldridge's website/youtube channel - I found the video on individual ones very helpful.

The Eyelure Girls Aloud ones are brilliant. They're about a fiver in Boots or Superdrug, there are 5 or more variations depending on how long/thick you want them and I find them simple to apply.

I always do all of my eye makeup first with liquid black liner on top and follow the line of that when I stick them on.

Definitely eyelure. About a fiver in boots.

The only ones I've ever mastered are Eyelure. I get the natural look ones because my eyelashes are reasonably long anyway so anything else is overkill! Maybe try those ones first?

Sounds like Eyelure is the way to go. That narrows it down to the point where I might not have an indecisive nervous breakdown in the makeup aisle of Superdrug. Thanks all Thanks
