What (if anything) can you do for crows feet?

I don't have other wrinkles, just crinkly eyes- quite a few cross hatches.

I use eye serum every night and always have done but I'm going to be looking for something more radical (or putting up with it if the ideas you come up with are two scary Grin)

I quite like my crinkly eyes and I'm determined to grow old gracefully!

Having said that though, it doesn't stop me from slapping on ridiculously expensive serums, eye cream and moisturisers!

lurkingaround · 17/09/2013 19:25

Botox? Probably more cheaper than your expensive serums and creams.
Certainly more effective.

lurkingaround · 17/09/2013 19:26

more cheaper? Ffs. Obv I mean cheaper.

LaurieFairyCake · 17/09/2013 19:38

I thought they didn't put Botox on crows feet ? Confused

Isn't that just for muscle freezing? And not crepeyness

They Botox crows feet. Notice presenters/actresses etc on tv. when they smile their eyes dont crinkle up like mine do. The crepiness is probably a separate issue.

madmomma · 17/09/2013 20:41

Ooh I want botox on my crows feet!! I also thought there was nothing non-surgical that could be done in that area.

Rules · 17/09/2013 20:45

Crows feet are just laughter lines aren't they so they are lovely cause they mean you have laughed a lot.

loveisagirlnameddaisy · 17/09/2013 20:48

Botox is probably the only thing that's going to make a visible difference although I've had it and it wore off vvv quickly (after 6 weeks). So not a long term option for me. I don't think the creams can ever really work in the way we want them to and the pictures suggest.

ElBombero · 17/09/2013 21:06

I'm an aesthetic nurse, I think Botix is the only real anti wrinkle treatment that will work for fries feet, bar surgery. It is fab and simply stops the muscle wrinkling when you smile / frown

ElBombero · 17/09/2013 21:07

*botox

Rules · 17/09/2013 21:09

But ElBombero doesn't it stop you smiling naturally....for instance you can tell when a person is genuinely smiling by the way there eyes crinkle.

mirry2 · 17/09/2013 21:12

Elbombero what are fried feet? I'm visualising a MaccyD special Grin

Monadami · 17/09/2013 21:22

Botox or what I use the Obagi Nu Derm System which includes using Retin A, I'm 44 and have no wrinkles.

ElBombero · 17/09/2013 21:24

Mmmmm I suppose you are making your facial expressions less natural but I don't feel that I or my clients look noticeably so, your smile is obvious with your mouth, cheekbones n softness in your eyes not the laughter lines, they only come with age...

ElBombero · 17/09/2013 21:25

Haha I'm typing on my phone whilst BF n too lazy to proof read

Botox.

I went for my glabella lines and he did my crow's feet too. They weren't something I was concerned about, but they have completely disappeared.

Rules · 17/09/2013 21:31

I think a lot of it depends upon your genes too. I don't have a lot of lines and my face looks very young. Im mistaken for mid to late thirties but am 52. My mother looks young though.

specialsubject · 17/09/2013 22:12

it's a bit of a shocker when you first see them, but it is the downside of not being dead by 25.

no cream/serum will do anything. Botox/cosmetic surgery.

or just be grateful you can move your face. As always, not smoking, easy on the booze and not sunbathing will reduce the wrinkles.
