Boots for narrow calves?

Would love some fitted zip-up boots (but all the boots I try look like wellies). There must be some other people on here with my problem? Any recommendations? Thank you :)

Does anyone know if it's possible to have suede, furry-lined boots taken in to make them more narrow? I have some almost knee-highs that feel great on my sensitive big feet, but gape hugely around my skinny legs! East Anglia region, thanks x

If you could find a shoe/boot repairer, I'm sure they still exist?

Moche - what size shoe are you ? I bought a pair of black Jones slim leg boots 1/2 price which I'm looking to sell. I can't seem to find anywhere to stretch the calf ironically !

I often buy childrens boots. Got a fab pair last year from the star trite factory shop! Only went to buy Ds school shoes, Dd 16 was horrified her mother was buying childrens boots for herself. Well at least I wasn't expecting her to wear them!

Looking for boots for narrow/slim calves - I have been looking all my life for nice quality leather boots that don't look like wellingtons on me and finally, at the age of 60, have found Gabor Brook S boots which are fantastic. Bit pricey but well worth it.

Duo boots do not always let you resize the ankle as well. A couple I have tried still look silly on my tiny calves and ankles because they are still baggy around the ankle. I agree with LK Bennett but also have a pair of riding boots (stretch panels) from Hobbs which are great and are now 9 years old.

oh and I have big feet (7.5) so can't get kids :-(

I have super skinny calves - I discovered duo boots last year, I love then. Lovely boots that actually fit. Highly recommended
