Growing out a "pixie"

Well, trying, at least.

I'm over 50. Am I too old to have a long bob? I had a pixie cut in April, this year. I loved it, for about a week. I'm trying to grow it now but it's not anything, at the moment. I'm thinking it's taking forever to grow, not like when I was in my youth! Saw a friend last week who said she loved the pixie but really, it made me feel "bare" (nothing to hide behind - it was So, So short).

I'm just sick to death of it and I either get it past the jaw length bob (boring bit for me) or leave it short. Any tips to make it grow quickly?

It looks great now!

Thanks. Am trying to find a pic of my pixie, and can't. I guess that answere it for me! No photos existing of "the chop"!

I got this far before the Anne Hathaway look, in April... Will probably leave it alone, then!

And you don't look over 50!!!

WipsGlitter · 12/09/2013 21:57

I think it suits you as is. You don't look anywhere near 50!!

Jesus- hope I look like you when I am 50, I'll be well happy!!

Aww, thanks ladies. I know it's a patience thing. This time next year! Just don't want to look "mutton". When I see some women with longer hair dragging their faces down, I think "must get my hair cut". Then I do, and regret it. Smile
