Bra shape help- is marriednotdead about?

After a disastrous trying on session in John Lewis I'd like some help about what bra to try please if anyone is an expert in shapes and styles.

Before MN, when I thought I was a 34B then 34D I found Calvin Klein padded push up bras or others in that style were the best fit. Or tshirt type bras. I've never been able to do those non padded with seams across the nipple, they squash me and make me a very odd shape (I think I might be bottom heavy). Balconette bras are uncomfortable as the wires dig into my breast bone.

I'm 30 in underneath and 37.5 dangling, so around 30F. Quite round and pert, very wide apart with a big gap in the middle. Very few decent plunges in my new size that I could try on, and I don't want to keep ordering hundreds online and return them all.

Any ideas of what I could go for, makes to try and whether they come up big or small. I have a Freya Lauren in 30F but it's huge on one sure and a little big on the other. The shape I get is great but the high wires annoy me a bit.

I'm not an expert, but do wear plunge bras as other shapes just don't seem to work on me. My two favourites are:
a bravissimo plunge - can't remember the name, but it comes in black, cream, and one other colour each season. It's plain, moulded, and has a tiny covered button on the breastbone bit.
A cleo moulded plunge. They seem to have different names for different fabrics, if you google 'cleo plunge' a few will come up. I have a lovely pink one with purple straps that's on sale at amazon at the moment.

Thanks for the tips. The one on amazon is gorgeous but not available in my size. Can't seem to find it anywhere else. The Cleo Maddie look quite nice, a bit lower central wires than a lot of others. What are Cleo sizes like compared to Freya?

I think I'll have to bite the bullet and order tons then return what doesn't work.

most cleo bras are comparable size wise to Freya I think but the maddie is tiny. I'd probably need two cups bigger in maddie compared to my other close. I think the plunge the other poster was referring to is the satine

The other Cleo plunge is the Jude. I've never tried it and apparently it doesn't work for many, but worth a go as you can pick it up on eBay.

Ok, thanks for that. I'll order a few to try, might try the Freya Deco too. Fingers crossed I'll find something to fit.

My 30F Freya is actually a bit loose now and I need to use the smallest hook so I might try a 28.

Had a bit of a try on this morning in debenhams. They had quite a lot of 'fuller figure' bras in DD+, but they only started at a 30", even in Freya they only had 30s onwards. Only Freya and Gorgeous range too, quite a disappointment after their website.

Anyway, the Freya Deco Hatty in a 30E was a winner. Good fit and nice shape.
