I hate being cold.

What are your tips for keeping warm, especially if you don't have a sizeable budget.

uniqlo heat tech tops to be worn as layers, warm cosy scarves(cashmere if possible) leather gloves for driving/pushing pram & ski socks for under boots-i dread the cold!

Fleece lined tights (primark) and thermal long sleeve ts under everything. Sheepskin insoles in all boots or shoes. Lightweight wool scarves are good for cold offices or homes as they look good enough to never come off

A decent coat made a real difference last year - I got a Didrikson parka which was really cosy, and the collar, hood and cuffs meant I didn't really need a scarf, hat, umbrella or gloves.

Wore a lot of Uniqlo heat tech as well - leggings as well as the l/s tops.

Agree with mist. Investing in a Merrell coat made a lot of difference.

Other than that, layers and thermals. And wool.

Sorry OP - I saw you asked for stylish tips. My Merrell doesn't qualify!

Wool flannel trousers rather than jeans for very cold days. A padded gilet over your jumper and under your coat. Boots and shoes with a good fat sole that stop your feet freezing.

We have no central heating at work (old building). I find a thermal vest, silk shirt (silk is surprisingly warm) and cheap Uniqlo or supermarket cashmere jumper plus cardigan worn with woolen trousers over tights is the only way to survive. If I'm sitting for any length of time I put a blanket over my knees like an old lady.

The only good thing about last winter was DH giggling and rubbing himself on me to thaw me out every night when I got home.
