Comfy shoes that doesn't look like my Mothers...

I need new shoes. I'm a teaching assistant in a special school (allowed to wear jeans but often am in casual trousers, or leggings and tunics). I have boots, but need something casual but very comfy shoe wise. Converse would be ideal but they are too flat for me inside..make my feet ache. Has to be low heels as I often have to leg it after children Grin

Are Vans any more supportive? Or any other makes?

Hush Puppies ballet pumps? They are completely flat but have arch support. Mine are 3 years old now and just starting to wear out. The black ones polish up nicely too Smile

Expensive, and you may not need a wider fit, but last well and very comfy.

Fitflops do a hightop bit like the converse. V supportive. You can find them on the cloggs website. Mine have lasted for 3 years so I thought the price was worth it.

I know what you mean about converse. I like Superga as I find them more comfortable.

Superga are definitely more supportive, worth a try? Also agree that Hush Puppies ballet pumps are incredibly comfy, more so than Clarks shoes
