Which vitamins/other supplements do you take regularly?

Posting here because it's linked to beauty and you get more traffic here than on the health boards

I use a facial sunscreen every day, usually factor 30. I take a multivitamin (Superdrug own brand) which contains 100% RDA of Vitamin D. Is this enough? I have a good diet including lots of veg and fruit, oily fish once a week or so, protein from dairy, lentils and eggs, no red meat, white meat about once a week, drink 1-2 litres of water every day, no caffeine, no fags, light amount of booze

I also suffer from depression and have very dry/dehydrated skin. I have heard that taking fish oils can help with both issues but I would like to find out more.

What do you take regularly?

I take a capsule of cod liver oil three or four times a week, and that's it. I think it also includes vitamin D.

I think my diet is not too bad and I am not a vegetarian so I don't think I need any supplements.

Thanks, I may give them a go and see if they make a difference to my skin in the winter

Lotta, I can't really say that my cod liver oil capsules have made a difference to my skin though. My skin is not too bad but it gets drier in winter; I just use a slightly richer moisturising cream.

I drink a fair amount of water too.

Multivitamin, Calcium, Iron, Omegas, Vit D

Was feeling very washed-out post kids and feel these have helped. Don't eat as well as I should.

madmomma · 06/09/2013 19:38

Yeah I'm trying to build myself up after 2 back to back pregnancies and a close bereavement yomella. Feel like I've aged 20 years in the last 2 :(

Spatone - liquid iron
Magnesium (which has other bits in too)
Agnus Castus

The magnesium and agnus castus are for bad PMT and extreme tiredness I get with it. Stopped taking them both for a couple of months to see if it made a difference and have just started them again but a slightly different magnesium tablet with more magnesium in.
