Good shampoo conditioner for naturally coarse, frizzy and dry hair

I used to use Head and Shoulders for years and my hair was OK but quite frizzy, coarse, very thick, and wavy/curly. I am now dandruff free so I thought I'd try to find a shampoo for frizzy hair to stop me looking like a mop. I have tried the frizz free shampoo/conditioner from Aussie, complete disaster. Made my hair much more frizzy than before, after one wash. Tried the new-ish Dove cell repair. Disaster. Also tried Curly Wurly from Lush but it takes absolutely ages to get off my thick hair and it didn't work well anyway. I use Argan oil and/or coconut oil before washing which helps, but I would like to find a good shampoo/conditioner for my hair type. Anyone can help?

Tresemme Naturals - no silicone and low sulphates.

You could also try using a super-cheapo (Tesco own brand or similiar) conditioner to wash your hair, it's much less harsh. Shovel loads of it on and massage it really well into your scalp, and scrub with the pads of your fingers. Then rinse really well. This is what I do most of the time - I shampoo about once every 2 weeks or so.

L'Oreal Ever riche, nourishing and taming shampoo is fantastic. It's sulphate free, but lathers really well. It leaves my very dry, over processed hair, lovely and glossy and swishy. I use The Body Shop rainforest hair butter conditioner. This is silicone free. My horrid hair has never looked better.

Aveda damage remedy products are amazing. Ask gor a sample to try

I second the l'oreal ever riche
I have dry, coloured, thick and curly hair! The conditioner is amazing

Either Curly Girl method if you've got a natural curl or wave or Kerastase Oleo Relax shampoo and treatment conditioner if you're not worried about silicone and want to tame your hair.

I use this Dr Organics

and the conditioner to go with it.

My hair isn't very frizzy, but I do have a lot of hair. However, DS has just grown himself a 'fro - and he uses this. Of course it isn't really designed for afro hair, but he says it feels better than the normal shampoo.

I have coarse, thick, dry hair and have spent a fortune on different shampoos this year. The best - and cheapest - is dove Intensive Repair.

I second dove as well! I was using aussie miracle to start with then tried a dove conditioner on holiday and my hair is in a much better condition . Try it !

Products that have made a real difference to my curly, frizzy hair (though fine rather than coarse) are Living Proof no frizz shampoo/ conditioner and Moroccanoil combed through after every wash.

Second vote for argan oil shampoo and conditioner - really good!
