Remember those bendy foam curlers that were all the rage years ago? Can you still get them? I want some but can't find them anywhere.

Superdrug still sells them- I have a set myself Grin
I don't use them often as they make my hair go too curly, but I do like them

I got some for DD from Primark, about £1/£1.50! I'm sure I've seen them in the pound shop as well.

Not in our local Superdrug - maybe onl

Do you have a home bargains? They're in there too. I only know this because DD needed a second pack as one wasn't enough...I don't usually make it my business to know which shops stock what Grin

Give me a shout if you're struggling and I'll pick some up and post them off if you like?

Ah-ha! The reason I couldn't find them is because they are called rollers, not curlers.

Thanks for the offer Smile, but now that I've got the name right I can get them online easily enough.

How many for a full head of curls? 2 packs, ie 24, be enough?

No probs! Yeah two should be enough. DD has v fine hair, but lots of it, so one wasn't enough on hers :)

WildThongsHeartString · 04/09/2013 10:06

These sound interesting. How do you put them in please?

ILoveAFullFridge · 04/09/2013 11:25

You roll a lock of hair around the middle of the roller, roll it up as far as you want the curl to go, then bend the two ends in over each other. They're like fat, foam-covered, pipe-cleaners. Soft enough to sleep on. I don't know how heat-proof they are. They're very useful when you want the curl to make itself while you get on with other things.

I saw them in Sainsburys yesterday. And they were reduced. Can't remember how much though.

If you want really curly hair, try curlformers - I've had much better results with them rather than rollers. They can be pricy I got a set which had only been used once from ebay - amazing curls!

Dry hair or wet? I've got straight hair and would love a few curls to try!
