Tiny teeth and gummy smile, veneers or not?

I have teeny tiny teeth, they are straight and were braced as a child and some were widened by bonding. As I've got older ( mid forties now)there's been a little wear and they're even smaller, gappier and the bonding needs redoing (they said it would last 5-8 years and it's been 30 so no complaints there!!!)
Soooooo....the question is...should I have veneers, build them up with composite or just stop smiling? Has anyone had veneers?

I had one veneer, a discoloured tooth, and OMG I love it. While my teeth were never awful, I was always self concious about the discoloured one. Only one tooth but it has really changed my smile. And before the veneer I thought my teeth were getting old and yellow, in actual fact, they're not, they're quite white. The veneer just brightens up everything.

Find a good dentist, see what they think you should do, and definitely go for it.

Thank-you! Don't suppose you're in Yorkshire? Any recommendations welcome :)

Just wanted to update, I had composite build-up to the front six teeth and they look amazing, am actually smiling with my mouth open Shock and planning the purchase of red lipstick. It was a long and uncomfortable but definitely worth it :)

What's involved in composite bonding? I've not heard of that, is it invasive/drastic/expensive?
