So, apparently, if you use the above your will appear younger, bouncier and sleeker (is that a word?)

I usually spend under £3 for a shampoo or conditioner.

Any takers?

I've just started using L'Oreal Everpure no sulphate and it's really working for my curly hair - it's definitely less frizzy.

I got mine from a local independent chemist and it was £5.99 each, but was on a buy one get one half price; so £4.50ish each really.

They smell lovely too!

DorisShutt · 28/08/2013 21:05

And I've just seen it's on 2 for £9 at Boots too.

FrantasticO · 28/08/2013 21:09

I can second L'oreal everpure
Very good and I like the smell.
Doesn't strip the dye from hair either.
I've bought the whole range now!

geologygirl · 28/08/2013 21:15

Tresemme naturals range is pretty good and not hugely expensive

adagio · 28/08/2013 21:16

I like Naked for sensitive scalp - smells awesome (Neroli and Oatmeal), not actually read the ingredients to check how naked it is though! My scalp is much happier though.

adagio · 28/08/2013 21:17

Oh and I have bounce and shine, but I am at the stage of losing loads of post baby hair so no idea if the products are creating bounce and shine or if it is hormones.

BaconAndAvocado · 28/08/2013 21:46

Thanks all.
Good to hear that the L'Oreal range is good. It's off to Boots for me!

I've just tried the L'Oreal version for fine dry hair today. It has left my hair feeling wonderful and smells divine Smile.

FreshLeticia · 29/08/2013 07:26

Second Tresemme Naturals here. About a fiver but an enormous bottle and often on offer.

Justshabbynochic · 29/08/2013 07:53

I'm not sure of it's sulphate-free, but I saw Timotei Pure in Wilkinsons for like £1. I remember it said No Parabens. Granted the bottle is really small and I haven't tried it myself .

ZolaBuddleia · 29/08/2013 07:56

Does the L'Oreal no sulphate have silicones in it?

Justshabbynochic · 29/08/2013 08:02

Ooh I just found a good review of the Timotei Pure range here. I might try it myself now!

www.thesundaygirl.com/2012/08/timotei-pure-haircare-review.html?m=1

It is sulphate, paraben, silicone free and costs £1!

BaconAndAvocado · 29/08/2013 21:38

Like the sound of the thrifty Timotei shampoo!

JemimaPuddle · 30/08/2013 07:26

Zola most of the everpure I looked at still had silicone, the eversleek part of the range didn't though.

I've tried the timotei conditioner and its really nice.

Justshabbynochic · 30/08/2013 13:28

I just tried finding the Timotei but couldn't (of course!) so splashed out on some Eversleek. I finally had one highlight job too many and my hair is a frizzy mess so giving it a break from chemicals and heat for awhile.

Thanks for the thread, OP!

AmazingBouncingFerret · 30/08/2013 13:31

The trouble with the timotei that I found was I needed to wash my hair more often and so the small bottle didn't last very long at all.

mrsmoscow · 30/08/2013 13:32

I have been using ever sleek for last few weeks and am really liking it.

Justshabbynochic · 30/08/2013 14:04

Ahh, ABF knew there would be a hitch! Glad to try the Eversleek now.

Ujjayi · 31/08/2013 08:28

The EverPure for fine hair doesn't contain silicone OP.

Second use of it this week. DH came home from work & asked if I had been to the salon......conflicted between being pleased & wondering how awful my hair usually looks!

Ujjayi · 31/08/2013 08:36

Just checked the label again - I have the Ever Riche version which is for nourishing the hair & is silicone free. It contains sunflower & grapeseed oils plus some others.

Dancergirl · 31/08/2013 08:40

Does the l'oriel one come in a bigger size than 250ml?

Meglet · 31/08/2013 08:47

Another vote for the Loreal Eversleek range. Just checked the tube, no sulphates and no silicon.

I did worry it was an awful lot more to spend on haircare than I usually would but the conditioner goes a long way. If I use supermarket conditioner I have to use masses to work through my hair but the Eversleek conditioner goes further.

BaconAndAvocado · 03/09/2013 10:34

meglet can you buy the Eversleek range from chemists/supermarkets?

Or is it just hair salons?

OP posts:
JemimaPuddle · 03/09/2013 14:48

Ujayyi they must have changed it then, I bought the everpure for fine hair when it first came out & it definitely had silicone in then. I used it for a few weeks but for terrible build up on my hair.

BaconAndAvocado · 05/09/2013 12:40

Have used the Ever pure shampoo and conditioner twice now and it is fabulous! My hair is much improved and the fragrance really lingers.

ThanksThanks
