It's peeled of my little finger and when I look closely I can see its not been taken to edges on all fingers. I got a sparkly grapefruit colour cause I'm a coward so it's not very noticeable either. All in all a bit disappointing it's only 3 days old. Are there differnt quality shellac products did i maybe not get a good one?

I think it's down to the skill of the person applying it. My first one was really disappointing, only lasted about 5 days and my nails were wrecked after.

I left it about 18m before having another and was a bit dubious but went to a place recommended by a friend and they are amazing. Lasts 3-4 weeks with no chipping or peeling, just the growth in my nails from the bottom. My nails are stronger than they've ever been as they're protected I think.

The nail technician is great, I can see how much she's concentrating and it's a work of art really!

Completely agree that it depends on the skill of the technician. Ask for recommendations, or trial and error to find a good quality one?
Gel nails are definitely worth the effort, I would never go back to regular nail polish now.

My mum had it done once when she was going on holiday. She had coral on her hands and it still looked as shiny as the day it was done and was totally chip-free when she got home from 2 weeks in Turkey... Maybe you should complain?

I had the same problem with my first shellac but have since gone to another nail technician and it has lasted 3 weeks and looks so much nicer. Try and get a recommendation from a friend who is happy with their shellac
