Hi all,

Have been using the Body Shop range for quite some time.... but I need a change now.
I have shoulder length hair which is naturally wavy/curly and tends to get very fizzy. It's also very thick and tends to get very dry. I just blow dry my hair as straight as possible.... don't own a straightener as I never have the time for it...
To add to all of this, I've also been losing a lot of hair since the birth of my son...

So need something that will tame my hair and maybe also make it stronger ...

Thanks in advance :)

The aussie range is good. Dd is only 7 but her hair is very thick and wavy and this works well. My hair is wavy lots of it but fine and aussie s too heavy for it especially the conditioners which is why they work well on dd's hair.

We are currently using miracle moist for her.

Philip Kingsley, all the way. Pricier than some, yes, but check out his website. I swear by his products. You choose a shampoo based on your hair texture (fine, medium, coarse, etc) and then the conditioner based on the state of your hair. He also does scalp masks, and he has plenty of info on hair and scalp conditions. He also has articles on post partum hair loss. You can buy trial sizes of his products from the likes of Marks & Spencers and John Lewis online if you want to try the line out without committing to buying the full sizes. The range is also available from QVC, where you can watch some demos. I have fine, thinning hair, so for me I use body building shampoo, moisture balancing conditioner, and the famous Elasticiser (as originally made for Audrey Hepburn). I also use his scalp masks. Never looked back. He's a qualified trichologist, so is definitely qualified on the hair care front.

Aveda damage remedy.
They are generous too with samples so try before you buy.

I second Aussie stuff. I used redkin for years then ran out and bought Aussie as a stop gap...never looked back!

The hair falling out after pregnancy is normal btw. It stops falling out in pregnancy and it goes back to its normal regeneration pattern 3-4 months post partum. I've been sporting the crazy flyaway mum re growth for over a year now Grin

L'oreal ever riche is the only one that works on my curly dry hair. Usually 2 for £9 or 3 for 2 in Boots
