One perfect outfit

I'm off shopping to Bluewater with my sister tomorrow, and I need some advice. I'm fed up of having mountains of clothes that don't quite fit or look right, and I'm determined to buy a 'perfect outfit' that makes me feel special every time I wear it. Can anyone recommend the best shop(s) to consider, and things to look at? I'm 5 feet 8, typical pear shape, and a size 12-14. (And have 3 gloopy childrenGrin so ideally needs to be easy-care)
Thanks

A perfect outfit for what? Perfect for a trip around town different to perfect for a night on the town! :)
Budget?

Daytime around town/ doing school run at this stage, as i rarely go out of an evening. I currently live in cropped jeans in the summer, and long jeans and jumpers in the winter, but as my youngest is about to start school, i want to make more of an effort. Mid-range budget, so not full-on designer, but not New Look eitherSmile

Im going to bluewater on Sun! I like Topshop for knitwear and jeans and Zara for slightly more interesting bits.

Mango is good too and Reiss sometimes has nice things although more pricey.

You cant really go wrong with skinny jeans, blouse and pumps/ boots depending on season. Or if really cold replace blouse with oversized jumper.

I went to Zara today and it has some really lovely clothes in at the moment.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll give them a look.

I'm never sure about skinny jeans on me, but I'm prepared to try a posher pair. It'll be my first shopping trip with no small children in tow, so I'll actually be able to properly try things on rather than grabbing wildly and thinking "that'll do!"Grin

Do try skinnies. Topshop are pretty decent for mid-priced ones, though obviously not posh! And how about a biker jacket (v easy to wear for much of the year, depending on what you wear under it)?
