Gahhh. I am just spreading the word about how flaky this product is. I paid £250 for one of these in Feb 2012

www.my-no-no.com/uk/?

It stopped working April 2013 but I wrongly assumed I just needed to replace the thermicon tip. I have just got round to doing this. So I received my sparkly new tips last week. But the damn thing still wouldn't work.

I rang up the company yesterday and spoke to a manger. When I explained the technical issue it seemed like she knew exactly what the issue was in that she recognised straight away what the problem was.

She said that as I hadn't taken out an extended warranty there was nothing they could do except offer me a discount on a new No No system - £30 off (having a laugh right??).

I was also staggered when she said the machine was unfixable. I said that if I had realised how flaky the machine was I might have taken a warranty out on it.

I can't believe they cannot even attempt to fix it and that I have no recourse to solving this. What a way to waste £250!

Be very warned!

Most electricals only have 12 month guarantees anyway and you were beyond that at 14 months. Not sure what you expected them to do?

Reading reviews would have told you the product is shit anyway.

I know. I took a chance.

But I did expect it to be fixable! That's what I expected them to do. Is that so unreasonable? Just had a blanket stonewalling: 'nope - we can't do anything...'

Ah this! I remember watching an infomercial about this in the wee small hours after major surgery, when I was off my head on morphine but too trippy to sleep. It seemed like a pretty good deal to me at the time. Sorry, OP.

Household insurance?

£250 for 14 months equates to just over £17 a month. If it worked during that time then you haven't wasted your money.
