Should I get one?

Big investment,I could try to justify the costs by sharing with DD 14 but lazery things for teens seems a bit wrong.

Illuminate me please.

I've got the Lumea. It works pretty well although I didn't get the chance to use it for long (bought it when I'd had DS1 and then quickly got pregnant again - you can't use it when PG). I'm going to start using it again soon. I-ve previously had laser hair removal and I would say the lumea was almost as effective. But I have dark hair + very pale skin which is ideal for this type of treatment.

CaptainUndercrackers if you don't mind, I have questions! How long were you using it for? Did it get rid of everything or just some of it and slow regrowth down etc? Has the hair now come back? Did the laser removal you had work permanently, and are you hopeful this machine will work permanently or is it a matter of maintenance treatments?

Hi madbuslady, sorry for the late reply. Laser removal seemed to work semi-permanently. So I had it about 7 years ago and so far have had about 10% of the hair grow back, maybe even less. I just had it on my bikini line. I bought the lumea to zap the few that had grown back, and to try on my underarms and legs. I didn't have much chance to use it before got pregnant but it definitely made a big difference. I don't think it's a permanent thing though, the instructions say to use every 2 weeks for a couple of months then every month-ish for maintenance. I will be starting to use it again when I stop breastfeeding. My skin seems to be more sensitive when PG/BF so don't want to use it till I stop.

I personally didn't want to let my daughter use a laser on her young skin which is why I looked for a natural solution.

I now use an all natural home made cream which I learnt how to make from a book I bought at www.hairfreebody.com.

This is what my DD will be using in the not too distant future.
