Wedding in 4 weeks time in Haywards Heath 2 months pregnant - what to wear to be comfy and what to do about DD?

Hi there ladies,

Am getting married in 4 weeks time here in Haywards Heath to DP and can't wait for the day to come now. However, as will be 3 months pregnant then am just worried what I should wear to feel ' comfy' if you see what I'm saying.

My other worry is DD as she is only 2 and is really struggling with toilet training. I'm just worried she'll have a big accident as that's all she seems to be doing at the moment.

While I'm here, has anyone got any good names which work in both English and French? (In case you're wondering, I'm French and hubby-to-be is English)

Thanks! X

Twinklestein - Wish mine did but I have been over here for 10 years now and turned 33 last week! Tbh English is my first language these days and using French with DD has proven rather tricky! Especially baby words and wouldn't have a clue about pregnancy related vocab in French I can tell you!

They're from La Rochelle, in the west. How about your DH's family? Oh no, hope it wasn't a painful op? Expect DCs are getting a full dosis of French now as they are completely surrounded by it!! Also meant to ask, (if you don't mind me asking!) have you taken your DH's surname? I'm going to be taking my DP's even though mother is literally up in arms about itHmm That's Mums for you though isn't it?!

I took his surname because it was nicer than mine...!

He grew up between Angouleme (not far!) & Paris as his parents were divorced. His mum now lives near St Emilion.

Oh wow!!! St. Émilion is a beautiful place - actually went there with my geography class many many moons ago when I was a little girl!

Twinklestein - And where do you live in the UK? Believe it or not, you're the first Anglo-French couple I've come across since I have been over here in Blighty (and that feels like donkey's years!) as most of the couples we know around here are either both British or British-Polish!

My DP is French too Grin

Oh, and just get one of those all-in-one things with a discreetly placed aperture to wee through.

eleonorefrenchie · 11/08/2013 11:25

Tethersend - The more the merrier! Oh for me you mean? But wouldn't that be more awkward? Never worn a onesie before but sometimes see women in town with them on and think they look horrid! Do you think big knickers might do the trick? Where are you in the UK btw? (forgot to say - love your nickname!)

I live in London OP, there are lots of French peeps here...

tethersend · 11/08/2013 12:12

I'm in London too. Yes, we're drowning in Frenchies Grin

tethersend · 11/08/2013 12:13

Big knickers would work.

To be honest, any knickers would work, I can't really see the problem Grin
