Brazilian blow dry

Hi. Please can someone help me.

I just had a brazilian blow dry done, 2 hours ago.
Whilst he was blow drying my hair i had my eyes closed - then when i opened them i nearly died. My dyed hair had turned bright orange!
My hair is normally a darkish brown but i put schwarzkopf Live Luminance L76 Ultra Violet in my hair so its a nice purple colour.

Before doing it they didn't mention it might strip the colour out of my hair. Afterwards they didn't mention it at all that my hair was now a vibrant orange colour. I purchased the shampoo and conditioner they were telling me to buy and quickly left.

I can not walk down the street with hair this colour but when i googled people have said to wait 2 weeks before dying your hair Shock
I don't know what to do. I texted a friend whos wife is a hairdresser and she said my hair shouldn't have changed colour and that they should correct it but i was in shock and didn't say anything to them.
I'm laughing right now but kinda feel like crying.

Please someone help me.

I think you need to go back to the salon and say 'fix it!'

I called them up and he said it was my responsibility to ask if it takes colour out of my hair. I said but you're the stylist and should have mentioned it to me as you knew it was the first time i'd had it done but again he said it was my fault.
I asked what he had used as i spoke to someone who said it shouldn't do that to my hair and he refused to tell me.
He said it does take the colour out of hair esp hair that coloured as mine was.

Fair enough if it'd taken the purple out and i had gone back to brown but it didn't im now ginger.
He said i can't dye it for 2 weeks.

I asked what he was going to do to fix it and he said nothing.
I won't be going back there then or recommending them either.

That's shocking. I had a Brazilian blow dry yesterday and was actually told that doing it after colouring will seal in the colour-not strip it out! The stylist did also say it's better to do colour then Brazilian as if you do it the other way round you have to wait two weeks to do the colour.

I wouldn't give up if I were you. I was given a 10 minute lecture before the stylist started about what it would do I my hair, what the rules are for the next few days, which shampoos and conditioners to use etc. Given that this kind of treatment is £100+ I wouldn't expect any less.

Can you go back in person and really kick up a fuss?

That is terrible! I can't believe they have been so unhelpful.

Do you know what type of brazilian blow dry it was? You might be able to tell my looking at the shampoo and conditioner? That might help if you are going to another salon to get it fixed.

I've had a nanokeratin a few times before and both times they categorically told me you can't have it until 2 weeks after your last dye job and you can't dye your hair for 2 weeks after it. Therefore you need to time it right.

Sorry to hijack a bit-foolssilver did you buy the shampoo and conditioner after your treatment? I bought the shampoo yesterday but am now worried I should have bought the conditioner too-don't want to ruin it by using the wrong stuff on my hair!
