Really pale tinted moisteriser or very light foundation for dd

Dd is like a milk bottle, and even palest shades are too orange. She has been using my Laura Mercier tinted foundation in the lightest shade, but still has a visible line.
She wants really light coverage ...doesn't wear it every day, but for going out.

(she's nearly 17 btw in case anyone gets offended about a 12 year old wearing makeup!)

M&S autograph tinted moisturiser in the lightest shade - I've switched to this from porcelain LM

I've got very pale skin and I find body shops vitamin e tinted moisturiser really good, and I also use l'oreals bb cream.

My 14 year old use Benefit ' You Rebel ' in the newer lightest shade and that's very good.

Sounds like my DD and me though DD is a tiny bit whiter.

You might have to branch out a bit and look at light foundation not just tinted M.

Bobbi Brown Porcelain in the Skin Foundation- very light and I use this.
Do not use her BB cream as even the extra fair is quite tinted for my skin.

DD likes Dainty Doll foundations in the palest shade.

Nars have a very pale foundation- the palest shade.

Boots No 7 palest shade- NO!!! I was sold this on the basis of their new gadget and it's too dark for me and too pink/grey.

Cliniqu CC in the palest shade might work-DD uses it but my skin is more yellow toned and it's a bit pinky.

I have a barely used tube of Clinique cc cream in 'very light' that's too pale for me, or anyone I know, to use.

I 'won' it on here as a trial thingy Clinique were doing & it seems a shame for it not to be used as its so expensive.

Unfortunately I've spawned a real chip off the old block. I have an addiction to high end make up and my DD has been brought up to love all the stuff that I do.

I'd actually far rather her wear a few carefully chosen pricey products and apply it well and look nice as opposed to her plastering herself in Boots 17 glitter balls

Bare minerals is fab and lots of different shades. Nice and light on your skin and much easier to avoid lines with it.

I've had some good news this week & am trying to pay it forward

I'd recommend MAC - loads of shades (inc pale - I'm v pale) and tones, yellow through to pink based skin tones

It's not cheap £30 ish but Origins vitazing is ah-may-zing.

It's a bit weird in that it doesn't come in different shades and the cream is white but when you put it on, it turns into the right colour for your skin (plus just a little extra colour to make you look alive!).

It's basically a tinted moisturiser but makes you look v luminous and glowy, has an SPF and lots of good for skin vitamins etc.

Big boots stores / department stores normally have an origins counter where she could have a try with it. I LOVE it.

Nb - it doesn't give much coverage for dodgy skin though so a decent concealer with it is useful.

I am so pale and despite being 30 have teenage skin, I use Lily Lolo foundation which is mineral, so you can just use a light covering, or build coverage if you want more. It's also great for teen skin. It's about £12.50 a pot, but they have testers to determine colour much cheaper. I wear porcelain. My pot lasts me 2 months and i wear it every day, so could imagine it would last ages for your DD

FOr young skin and light coverage I would recommend Lilly Lolo mineral foundations - it comes in really pale shades too. You can use it really lightly and it gives enough coverage but not so I looks visable.

I am super pale and I use the Benefit Flawless Oxygen Wow in Ivory. It's good for young skin as its breathable. If you take her to one of the counters they will do her make up so she can 'try before she buys' to check the shades available.

shu uemura tinted moisturiser. loads and loads of v pale options (presumably for the japanese market but helps milk-bottle pale scots too)

I was going to say Lily Lolo too. I use their second lightest foundation, and I'm really pasty .

Lily Lolo Porcelain - I had a sample and it's too light for me, and I usually use the lightest shades of make-up. It's lovely to wear too, ideal for young skin.

It's light coverage, more like a tinted moisturiser really. porcelain is the lightest shade.

Estee Lauder invisible fluid is what I use.

Maybelline bb cream in fair is lighter than the LM tinted moisturiser and very good.
