Anyone got any recommendations, I seem to have tangoed myself with Zen Tan, sigh

Also needs to be easy to get a good result, I always end up with funny bits on my toes/ feet where the fake tan ends.

If you have really fair skin you would maybe be better to try one of the moisturisers with a small amount if fake tan in, this will slowly build up the colour over a few applications and are much less likely to become streaky or have orange patches. I'v used this and find it soaks in quickly and doesn't smell to much either!

Vita Liberata, very good colour, organic! Normally use the gradual tan but bought the tinted gel this week to tan very very pale teen daughter, looks very natural.

Make sure you exfoliate, moisturise elbows, knees, dry patches and get a tanning mitt for even results.

Famous Dave's tan for fair skin is great (and I've tried em all!)

I tend to mix whatever I've got 50/50 with moisturiser before application.

Cocoa Brown tan is supposed to be great. I'm pale and going to give it a try.

I don't mean to be rude and I realise this doesn't answer your question but I would like to say this;

Pale skin is beautiful too, some people are meant to have pale skin and its suits their physiology to a tee.

Some people are mean to be darker skinned and look ill if they get too pale.

If you have naturally milky skin and features to suit, your going to look at odds with yourself with a fake tan.

Just a thought Smile

Herenea I don't use fake tan to look deeply tanned. I agree that it would look odd on very fair skin. However my skin colour and tone does not look its best in strong summer sunlight, and the 'fake tan' I use gives it a very light colour - similar to what I would achieve if I was in the sun without protection on holiday. It also evens out skin tone. People are surprised when I tell them I have fake tan on, and I also avoid the 'pale blue motorway' look my legs have au naturel.

Thanks all, I'll Google some of these.

Thanks too, Herrena, food for thought :)

I m naturally pale too, but a light tan looks healthier sometimes and I like it ,Smile especially with summer colours and skirts/ shorts! I detest dark tans on me - it looks wrong and totally unnatural.
This year I m using San tropez gradual tan in light medium, I put it on about 3-4 times a week and exfoliate (lightly) in the shower before I put it on. It hasn't gone streaky at all and there s been no patchy build up of too much tan. (Mind you I swim about 4/5 times a week and this might be helping that - you might not need it as frequently ) I had topped up my legs when wearing a skirt with a bit of lamcome gel I got too as I find my legs hardly tan!
Then lashings of sun block and we re off!
