Help me find shoes for this dress (please!)

Going to a wedding next weekend - am planning on wearing this, and praying it isn't too hot.

The dress comes to about my knees, and as I have fairly muscular fat calves, I was thinking I should wear something with a heel to lengthen my leg. BUT I'm having physio on my knees atm, and am notoriously crap at walking in heels, so realistically I am going to do myself a mischief if I wear anything too high.

So o wise S&Bers, what do I put on the end of my legs!?

(Oh and if you can reassure me that it isn't a terrible dress to wear to a wedding that'd be nice too!)

TIA

That's a lovely dress, I fear it might be way too warm but it is very nice.

A low wedge sandal in the cobalt blue or red would work well.

I love it, I wish my body shape suited that sort of dress. If you wake up on the day and it is boiling do you have a back up plan? Hopefully it will be cool enough for you to feel comfortable in it because it's so pretty.

I'd go for wedges as they still give you some height but more support for your knees than a thin heel or stiletto. Personally I'd choose black, but then I always tend to be conservative!

Thanks guys!

Gah I think you may be right about it being too warm - it's very thin jersery material, but perhaps I'll want something that's going to have a bit more of a draft through it? I'm going to buy a back up dress won't I

yy to wedges...where do people buy wedges?
