Thread veins on legs - advice please!

I'm thinking of getting the thread veins on my legs zapped. Has anyone in London had this done, and would you be willing to recommend the clinic where you had it done? Does it hurt? Is it very expensive? Did the veins come back? How many sessions did you have?

Am a little nervous, in case you've missed that!

Thanks for any advice offered.

I've had small patches on my legs done. You can't get even results on large areas where the veins spread out. It was £250 for one session and I got 6 ish small areas done(1cmx1cm), that was a few years ago though and not in London. Hurts a little but not very painful. It does leave a dark bruise with takes about a month to heal and you must wear high spf for 6 months afterwards. For that reason its probably best to get veins lasered in winter.

Thanks, Spacegoat. That's a very small area. Think I need to research this quite a bit more.

Look into sclerotherapy. That does larger areas. My worst veins are round my ankles and feet though so its no good for me, but might work for you.

I can't tell you any more though as I've not had it done.

In the meantime fake tan covers a multitude of sins... including thread veins.

Me too Travelin! Look less bad when legs get some colour any way....

Before you do, google horse chestnut tablets and cream and veins etc.

Maybe worth a shot, I would love to give it a go - the only reason I am hesitating is it maybe a problem for people allergic to latex.
