I love strappy tops but feel a strapless bra wouldnt give me enough support!!

Yes they do...cos they are so small that lots of cotton summery dresses and tops just sort of hang loosely around them wondering what they are supposed to do now!

Hoopoe · 06/06/2006 21:02

definitely. can't wear strappy tops... and why do strapless bras squish your boobs into one long shelf?

charliecat · 06/06/2006 21:21

Yes. 36E bloddy massive big things. I look like a transvestite in strappy things.

CaptainDippy · 06/06/2006 22:06

Bravissimo is fab!! I am a 32GG and everyone always says "ooooh, you're lucky!" Yeah right!! There's not many things I can wear - nothing strappy or strapless. It's taken me two years to find a swimming cossy that actually holds everything in - Nightmare.

CaptainDippy · 06/06/2006 22:08

Blush Just realised I typed norkled!!

Actually. I quite like that!!

Norkled!!

Grin
Piffle · 06/06/2006 22:10

thats what dp needs when he nuzzles them LOl
A Norkle

AllieBongo · 06/06/2006 22:23

yes, too top heavy for dresses. strapless bras are crap.

Piffle · 06/06/2006 22:30

I spent 5 hrs in Meadowhall searching for a dress for big high powered awards dinner for dp in the USA.
I have skinny hips well no hips so dresses are usually a calamity for me, managed to find one with a bias cut silk skirt whcih flowed rather than gaped around my non existent hips, good job as the dress was size 14 to encompass norkulars which were already contained in a minimiser with half of them wedged underneath Blush
I resort to this a lot, and it has led to cysts...
I canot wait for my c cups, they are my true destiny

AllieBongo · 06/06/2006 22:35

i think by boobs believe that they are meant to half nestle under my armpits

Auntymandy · 07/06/2006 06:58

I'm sure mine weigh at least half a stone each too!!

schneebly · 07/06/2006 07:43

Yes but as I am pretty big they wouldn't be in proportion if they were small. I am a 38f at the moment and hoping they will shrink a bit if I continue to lose weight but I will still be unable to wear some things as they are droopy and horrible. Sad

blueteddy · 07/06/2006 07:51

Yes, they can do, as I am a size 10, but am a bust size 32E. This means tops or dresses are often bought in the next size up to go round my boobs, but don't fit properly everywhere else.
I used to be pretty flat chested until I was about 17, but was told drinking milk would make them grow! Think I drank a little too much!!

Surfermum · 07/06/2006 20:20

I weighed mine once Allie! They were half a stone then and they were smaller. Must do it again, I reckon they add about a stone to my weight.

Fillyjonk · 07/06/2006 20:22

with you there, jess

FlameBoo · 07/06/2006 20:54

How do you weigh norks then Surfer??? I have always wondered how much mine must be!

CaptainDippy · 07/06/2006 21:02

I think my norks weigh at least a tonne!!!!!! Wink

happysinglemum · 21/06/2006 18:36

Loved the idea of norkles, captaindippy!! Also love the fact that kaftans are in this season...can hide all under long flowing top and look trendy at same time , mind you not sure that a smattering of baby sick is all that trendy!

do get cross at shops that stock teeny-weeny bras and nothing else - and then you have to ask a teeny-weeny shop assistant what size anything goes up to - not good on feeling low days

mummyofeb · 21/06/2006 20:45

Yes, mine are non existent!
