Very narrow flip flops - help please!

I have exceptionally narrow flat feet and have only ever been able to find one pair of flip flops that fitted me - a pair of Oxbow ones with an additional adjustable strap going across the foot. Every other pair I have tried just fall off my feet! My darling much loved Oxbows are now 9 years old and have seen better days. Needless to say they no longer make them so I am on the hunt for very narrow or adjustable flip flops and thought I'd ask for some help here!
I've just measured my feet; at the widest point they measure 13cm if the tape is touching the floor either side. Last time they were measured at clarks (15 yrs ago) as a 15 year old they were a 'b' width fitting. I'm a size 6 but usually wear a 5 in sandals as they come up a little narrower. I specifically want flip flops - I don't have as much problem with sandals as Mephisto fit me (in a 5) and I had some others made for me last year.
I have seen Havaianas do a 'slim' flip flop but how slim is slim? We don't have any good shoe shops around here for me to browse/try on so am looking to order online.
Any suggestions would be very great fully received. I'm not too fussed on colour/design I just really need a new pair that are going to fit me. Tia.

I've just measured my slim Havanias for you, at the narrowest they are 63cm, widest 90cm mine are a size35/36.

I think you have my feet, it's a pain in the arse finding summer shoes isn't it?! Birkenstocks do a narrow fit adjustable version but I guess that's more sandally than flipfloppy.

I've given up trying to find anything that fits, so not much help sorry.

Yep, Mephisto are great, pretty too. The narrow Birkys are too wide for me unfortunately.
It's not just summer shoes I struggle with! So far I have found I can wear most hush puppies, fly boots, some rocket dog shoes and dc or etnies trainers. Any you'd recommend?

I've found a few pairs in various sales that fit, mainly because they were made too narrow for normal feet I think! I put insoles in boots sometimes. I've heard Italian brands are narrower, maybe I should go shopping in Italy!

There is a website called Special Feetures who specialise in narrow shoes, but quite expensive and most styles are like something an elderly grandmother would wear!

Sam Edelman are narrow fit as well.

Yoox have some lovely sandals for £35 plus delivery.

Yes, Italian shoes are narrower for sure good to know about the Mephistos - they were £60 when I got them about 7 years ago. I have 3 different pairs so should last me a good while still.

Mmmm... Web searches seem to suggest the slim Havaianas have slimmer straps, not that they are for narrow feet..

Karbea yours are narrower than my Oxbow (70mm/100mm) but they would be I suppose as you are lucky and have diddy little feet!

Is it worth trying children's flip flops?

Ipanemas are fairly narrow, but they do have a slightly moulded sole which you may find irritating for your flat feet (I do).

Due do narrow shoes/sandals.

Narrow Birkenstocks are too wide for me also and I find my feet actually are slightly wider than Ipanemas.

The slimness of slim Havs I think relates more to their straps and also the height of the straps from the sole. I had to send back the first pair I ordered for this reason .

Both NEXT and M&S go up to a 6 in girls' shoes so might be worth giving it a shot.

I have Ipanema, they do come up small lengthwise, just to warn you and they do say on the official website that they are a snug fit.

i often try kids shoes (size 6) just to get the narrow width but not sure with flipflops

I have AA width fit feet. Finding ANY shoes is a total nightmare. I have never found any flit flops that really got well, but I did find some Animal ones washed up on the beach in Rock which are kinda ok (apologies if you know anyone who has lost some in the Camel estuary in the past few years). I have tried all the usual English mail order stockist for narrow fit shoes, they often buy in American brands as these can narrow a range of width fittings. Recently I have discovered that Zulily, the flash sale website, stocks some of the same brands, as they are an American company. I have successfully ordered some shoes from them. check out www.zulily.co.uk some brands to look out for are soft spots, soft walk, hush puppies (they sell some shoes mail order), proper, trotters, I could go on. I will have a poke around and see what I can find in the 'fit flops'.
