What do you do when gradual tan starts to wear off?

I applied fake tan for 2 nights and it has lasted for 2 days. Now I'm on the 3rd day and know that tomorrow it will look quite patchy, especially on my feet which is not a good look in sandals/flip flops.

Do you think if I exfoliate my legs well and put another layer of tan moisturiser on tonight they would look ok again??

On the NI induced bad weather season I go with the flow pale look. On these rather unusual summer days I beeswax up and sit out sod it I am helping local bees/beekeepers

If you are not of the tan it up naturally brigade you can fake (no advice) it or relax knowing your skin will be lovely for a lot longer than mine unless beeswax does have magical hydrating properties then you will miss out on 'are you spanish?' comments

Ooops replied to someone else's post - sorry! Get some cheap salt from supermarket, use it to exfoliate, slap loads of moisturiser on.

Then consider if you tan naturally or need fake tan. Both respond well to exfoliating and moisturising. And in all cases drink as much water as you can.

Grin Sacrebleu, I wondered what on earth you were on about

OP, do you moisturise before putting the tan on? I find that helps. And then moisturise the day after as well.

I was a little confused with sacrebleu.

No I don't moisturise as it is Dove moisturiser gradual tan.
