I'm looking for A good fake tan mousse . I've tried a few different ones but I need one that:

Dries quick and is as least sticky as possible
Ok for sensitive skin
Doesn't come off patchy
Lasts .

I know ... Hard to please ! Am I looking fpr the impossible ?? Grin

I don't use fake tan myself but my sister does and she really rates the St Tropez range. She has INSANELY sensitive skin and it causes her no problems.

ALittleBitOfMagic · 05/07/2013 23:18

Thanks one for the reply Smile st tropez is actually my favourite once it's on but I find it really patchy coming off .

They all have their pros and cons - now I'm looking for perfection GrinGrin

Have you tried st moritz?

OneLittleLady · 05/07/2013 23:27

I've heard good things about Fake Bake stuff but I'm told it's ££. Don't know myself, as I've previously said, I don't use any fake tan.

DIddled · 05/07/2013 23:28

Forget false tan! Try palmers natural bronze gradual tanning moisturiser - it's a revalation!!

Non patchy convincing colour- but treat with respect and wash your hands v thoroughly inc between your fingers- or you will look like a 40 a day smoker like I do currently :)

T'is excellent stuff.

susiefen · 06/07/2013 08:29

this is excellent and IMO far better than some of the more expensive ones I've tried. I've had loads of compliments at work on how natural it looks (and I have ridiculously pale legs normally). The trick is to rub it in really well, so you don't get streaks. I don't bother with a mitt at all, but just make sure you wash your hands really well straight afterwards. It fades really well and I don't find it goes patchy, but I do moisturise morning and night.

kiwigirl42 · 06/07/2013 12:39

St Moritz is the one all the beauty gurus recommend. Its really cheap and green based rather than red based so doesn't make you look oompa-loompa orange.

make sure you buy a mitt to spread it on - makes a huge difference

chocolatespiders · 06/07/2013 19:47

St moritz is available in Home bargains and wilkinsons and you can buy a tanning mitt in the same range.

deliakate · 06/07/2013 19:49

St tropez for sure. I tried 100s and this is the most natural and easy to get right.

Giggle78 · 06/07/2013 19:58

I have the perfect one for you!!! Its quite expensive but it always does at least five/six -maybe more, I've never counted them, applications. So it actually works out quite well per tan.

Its called Vita Libereta -pHenomenal. I use fair and if I do one application one night and the next application the following night I get the most amazing natural looking tan. I have used them all - fake bake, st tropez etc and this is by far the best fake tan I have ever used.

It dries almost instantly, it doesn't have a horrible smell and its smudge proof. I don't know how they do that but I have never had a tale tell tan line and I have been using this tan for over a year.

Have I raved about it enough!!

Giggle78 · 06/07/2013 19:59

Oh and it lasts for about two weeks x

littlemissnormal · 06/07/2013 20:04

I swear by St Tropez mousse, I found St Moritz faded really quickly.

Fake bake is good too and I've been thinking about trying the Lauren's Way tans as they're a bit cheaper than St Tropez but I'm not sure!!!

kittysaysmiaow · 06/07/2013 21:10

I really like Lancôme's mousse applied with a mitt

nobodysfool · 06/07/2013 22:39

Looking with interest as I have just done the st moritz tan but it looked grey in colour . Was worried I would look like an elephant by the morning so have washed it off Hmm.

FattyMcChubster · 06/07/2013 22:42

Second vote for vita liberata

sebastianthesingingaubergine · 07/07/2013 07:51

St Moritz is fab. Yes I agree it is grey on application, but dries to a great colour. I have tried loads and loads of fake tans, St Moritz is by far my favourite, especially given the price.

Tuppence2 · 07/07/2013 09:53

I'm another fan of the St Moritz mousse.
It goes on dark, so you can easily see anywhere you might have missed straight away, rather than find out once it develops. I just use latex gloves to apply it, and have never had any problems with missed areas/white patches.

Most fake tans will come off patchy unless you continue to moisturise properly, as it just gets washed off in bits when you shower.

VitoCorleone · 07/07/2013 16:06

St Moritz!
