as I ...errr my friend gets older, the tache is getting more luxuriant. Its blonde hair but getting more noticeable. I don't want to start something that makes it worse so what is the best way of removing it. Would prefer something I could do at home - any product recommendations...so I can tell my...errr..friend

My friend has her 'tache threaded off at Arch Angels, the brow bar at Debenhams, at the same time as having her eyebrows threaded. It's eye-wateringly painful - I mean, she tells me it's somewhat uncomfortable- but really works.

I thread it myself. Takes a couple of minutes and costs nothing. A bit ouchy but nothing major.

I use Veet face strips. They are great. Just steel yourself to rip them off quickly and the pain, and hair are gone in seconds. I really couldn't be bothered to book and appointment to have this done when 10 seconds in the bathroom works just as well.

Waxing ! I have tried electrolysis, threading (ouch) and now I find waxing best Smile.

Sorry I found the thing from Amazon useless and sore.

I just use Boots facial hair removing cream - cheap and cheerful and does the job.

My friend uses an epilator, so she doesn't have to wait in between times for waxing and in an emergency, a razor She has dark hair, so has had effective laser treatment, but a few stubborn ones resurface occasionally, so she tells me Wink
