Yes.

DameFanny · 28/06/2013 20:51

Yes. Unless interviewing as a lifeguard or stripper.

AnythingNotEverything · 28/06/2013 20:51

Some people believe you should always have your shoulders covered at work (in an office) full stop.

LittleNoona · 28/06/2013 20:51

Absolutely

Yes. And I work in a very relaxed field.

Bunbaker · 28/06/2013 20:54

Why would you consider not having them covered? Are you not in the UK. The weather isn't exactly at sleeveless temperatures at the moment.

mrsspongebob · 28/06/2013 20:58

Yes. Even in the middle of an Australian summer.

gintastic · 28/06/2013 20:59

Yes. And for work in general. And feet as well, in my opinion. We are fairly casual where I work, but everybody does at least do that.

Frenchvanilla · 28/06/2013 21:01

Considering getting a dress for simplicity (see here...apologies for starting two threads thread )

A couple of which are sleeveless...cardigan/jacket on the horizon, then

No toes, tits, tats or pits.

sugarandspite · 28/06/2013 21:05

Oh and I like dress 3 on your other thread, not a big fan of the others.

pointydog · 28/06/2013 21:11

Half-dressed women at work not a good look.

MrsSalvoMontalbano · 28/06/2013 21:16

FamiliesShareGerms · 28/06/2013 21:16

x-posted! Thanks!

FamiliesShareGerms · 28/06/2013 21:16

And yes, OP, you do need to cover your shoulders

HenWithAttitude · 28/06/2013 21:20

I interviewed someone on Monday wearing a sleeveless smart dress. She looked great and pulled it off brilliantly. She was however very slim, polished and toned. Other body shapes might not present so well.

I wore a sleeveless top today. Very smart top intended for the workplace but had a cardigan over it for my only meeting...cardy off once I was in the office

Can't you go for something with a bit more colour? Like a dark burgundy/purple/green/blue?

And for an interview I'd always wear a smart cardigan / shrug over a sleeveless dress.
