Collagen Gold Liquid.......Does it really work?

Hi

So I'm 29 and I've always previously had good skin. However, my smugness has recently been quashed, as I've noticed I'm developing wrinkles quite rapidly. Mainly around my eyes, but I just suddenly look much older and I'm not liking it one bit.

I've been using olay regenerist serum and moisturiser for probably around a year and a half and I use regular face masks. It's just not really working anymore.

I remember a while ago, reading about this 'magic' collagen drink, which really worked at rolling back and keeping back, the years. Then I read about the price tag and I just forgot about it. However, since I've started developing these wrinkles, I'm worried this is just going to continually get worse and worse. I mean, inevitably it will, but I feel I'm starting to look older than my years, so if it works, I think I would look at it as a very good investment buy

So, has anyone tried this? Or at least knows someone who has?

Collagen is a type of protein that will be broken down into amino acids and digested by the body. Proper nutrition is helpful to have healthy skin. The best drink for your skin is actually water, making sure you remain hydrated properly. If you are not getting enough protein in your diet, milk is an excellent source. Still, the best way to keep healthy skin is sunscreen and moisture lotion use daily and avoiding tobacco products.

Better off investing in decent eye cream, serum, night cream and an SPF day cream. Drink lots of water, take vitamins and have regular facials.

My DP is a scientist and bored me to tears for a good 15 mins ranting about drinkable collagen. He did explain very clearly that its just shite.

Botox is the only thing that erases wrinkles and keeps them at bay, I'm afraid.

Collagens just protein.

I agree a good sunscreen will do you more good long term with wrinkles.

I'm already using what is considered a good serum and moisturiser, which has an spf 30. My foundation has an spf too. I use burts bees eye cream. I don't use night cream because I assumed I was too young for it..........maybe not

My main problem area is the line down from my nose to the corner of my mouth and a little further down actually. I hate the idea of fillers, as I'd be terrified of being left with the duck bill look. Does anyone know if you can use botox in this area?

Have you tried nanoblur? Its a cream that blurs your lines when your wearing it. Ask for a free sample in boots. Its a temporary fix anyway.

Botox for eyes upwards, fillers from nose downwards. Find a good reputable person and they can look v natural and not duck like at all. I have fillers in the outer lines that run from nose to mouth and no one is any the wiser. Looks v natural and I just look fresher.
