Going to a wedding, need hair and makeup advice......

Hi ladies
I'm off to a wedding and have decided I'd like wavy hair, rather than my straight boring hair. I have Babyliss hot rollers and a babyliss curling tong but don't know which one to use.
When curling do you use a special product to hold the curl in your hair or do I just tong then spritz with hairspray.
It needs to last all day
Also, I'm looking for a foundation that will last. I understand a primer makes it last longer, is that right?
Would a powder also be a good idea to set it?
What do you use?
Also, what's your opinion on false lashes? Or just stick to a good mascara?
I don't have a lot of money to spend, maybe about £50 for everything
Thank you Smile

False lashes can start to peel up at the corners after a few hours, so I'd go for mascara.

Re: face powder, don't get a HD one. It can show up white in pictures.

I would get Gosh Velvet Touch primer, Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation, and whatever your old faithful mascara is. I like Lancome Defencils.

Thanks singing silver

I haven't got a clue with primers. A friend recommended a no.7 one

I absolutely love Diorskin Nude foundation. It lasts all day on me - I do however touch up to avoid shine once or twice during a long (warm) day.
If it has to be cheaper, then Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation is almost as good (and it smells really nice!).

A primer should make the makeup last longer, but depending on your skin type, you may not need it. And some primers make my makeup slide off after a couple of hours, so it's all about finding something that works for you and your skin type.

I use loose powder (or Mineralize skin finish from MAC) to set my foundation, and pressed for touch-ups during the day. I use MAC select sheer pressed powder.

False lashes could work fine. I have used individual ones a couple of times, and it really looks good - my boyfriend was amazed by how good it looked, and my mum as well - she ended up grabbing some of them and using them for X-mas.
I've used the ones from Revlon, and the glue was also from there. Could be taken off with an oil-based eye make-up remover.
I'm generally not so keen on the strips - the majority of them look too unnatural and are too much.
But you can just as well stick to a good lash curler and mascara.

Oh vibbe individual lashes is a good idea, I'll have a look around for some

If I'm going to need to touch up during the day then a pressed powder would be good then.
Any particular ones?
